Thank you for supportive people

 

Lord Jesus,

Thank you for sending supportive people around me.

Thank you for the smiles,

the compliments,

the encouragement,

the critiques,

the celebrations, 

the welcoming arms of true friends.

It’s hard to imagine how I’d feel your love

if people weren’t here on this earth showing it to me,

being you,

every day,

even while they’re being themselves.

Letting your Spirit pour out through them,

on me

to remind me that I’m your child.

I belong to you.

You are guarding me,

guiding me,

protecting me,

loving me.

That’s who you are.

Thank you for people who are Jesus to me.

What a lovely, incomprehensible concept!
