  • Fathers provide strength for their children in man Fathers provide strength for their children in many ways that mothers cannot and in different ways than mothers can.

A good father gives by example to their children: identity, courage, security, love, curiosity, respect, view of God, commitment, confidence, work, ethic, honesty, playfulness, fearlessness, service, duty, humility, leadership.

Mothers can give impart these character traits also, but they feel different from a mother. I know this first-hand, because I didn't have a father, and my mother modeled these for me. Mom was remarkable, but I also wish my dad hadn't died and he could've show me what it feels like to have a strong man believe in you.

My suggestion: Thank your father for wherever he succeeded and forgive your father for wherever he failed.

Then give the next generation more than you had. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿฅฐ
