Prayer against COVID-19 illness
Lord God,
You are the God who Heals.
You can stop this virus whenever you want.
Lord, I don’t want to interfere in your larger plan
but could you slow down the path of this virus?
Would you please in your mercy,
protect the old from getting sick?
Would you guard the children as they try to do school?
Would you give parents grace, patience, and safety from getting sick?
Lord, give the medical personnel strength to resist the illness,
patience to tend to the sick,
and time to recover?
Make this virus die out quickly.
Reduce its reach.
Let all those who know you rejoice and praise your name.
Convict Christians who are being rude, selfish, bigoted, or judgmental
to close their mouths and repent before you.
Help those who follow you to be shining examples of love and mercy in action.
May the whole world feel your love through the actions of your people.
We give you praise and honor for your healing power
and your relentless pursuit of those who don’t know you.

Hello Sue. I am a Pastor from Mumbai India. I am glad to stop by your profile on the blog post. I am also blessed and feel privileged and honoured to get connected with you as well as know you as a teacher, speaker,author, writer and about your interest in missions, art, church and being passionate about your christian calling. It was very encouraging to see those seven prayers that work during this world threatening Corona virus(Covid-19). Our country is also affected and so far there 195 positive cases and four deaths so far but people are fearful and are taking all meaures. We have been praying for God to stop this virus. These days I have been challenging out church members from the verse Lord has spoken to me from II Chronicals 7:14. I am sure God has allowed this virus to enter in almost over 178 countries. i am also praying that may God use this as an opportunity to revive His church. I love getting connected with the people of God around the globe to be encouraged strengthened and praying for one another. I have been in the Pastoral ministry for last 40 yrs in this great city of Mumba a city with a great contrast where richest of rich and the poorest of poor live. We reach out to the poorest of poor with the love of Christ to bring healing to the brokeneharted. we also encourage young and the adults from the west to come to Mumbai to work with us during their vacation time. we would love to have you come to encourage our women in the church and speak to the body of Christ from the Word of God or even encourage young people from your family, friends or church cirlce to come to Mumbai to work with us during your vacation time.
