Give me wisdom

Lord Who Sees Me,

Give me wisdom to notice where You are working today,
where you want my participation in Your loving touch.
Time rushes past, and I clutch at it
because I was made for another world where time doesn’t exist and my success is not needed.
Give me Your wisdom to spend the time You’ve given me here,
in the way You want me to spend it–
as an investment for eternity.
That’s why I need Your eyes, Your heart, Your perspective.
Because naturally I have
not enough time,
not enough peace,
not enough of You.

I worship You. In that exchange, help me see You and follow You.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
