Spring is breathtaking because we've been waiting for it during a long, cold winter. While we're enduring a lonely chill, God is preparing trees, plants, and animals to reproduce wonderous new life.

God does his most important work when while we're waiting in our wildernesses.

A statement from a wise friend/mentor yesterday. T A statement from a wise friend/mentor yesterday. Thank you, Anita.

The right choices don't always feel good. In fact, they often feel illogical and restrictive.

But Scripture and psychology tell us that we can control our emotions by controlling our thoughts. If we develop strong thought patterns about what we can/should control, we will free ourselves from the negative emotions that keep us enslaved and spiraling.

(Actually, the Holy Spirit frees us, but you know what I'm saying.)

Choose kindness, forgiveness, grace, release, acceptance--and you choose freedom for yourself. You will feel good about that. Eventually.
