Be Like Jesus in your relationships

In a sermon series entitled “Be Like Jesus,” Sue spoke on Mother’s Day from John 2. She took the familiar passage of Jesus’ first miracle at the wedding in Cana to talk about Jesus’ identity as Mary’s son and the Son of God. Jesus was 1) authentic–he knew who he was, 2) purposeful–he knew what he came to do, and 3) confident–he knew what he came to do.

Miracles are outside the perimeters of the natural world, so they seem foreign and unexplainable to us. but Jesus is outside the perimeters of nature because he is the creator of nature. Miraculous living/the supernatural are just natural living for Jesus and for all his disciples. Anyone who follows Jesus can walk in the supernatural.
